Review – Good Boys (2019)

Even though the movie Good Boys has some wacky, gross-out jokes, and 12-year-olds in outrageous situations, this film has a lot of heart, especially towards the end. The movie’s charm comes from the way producer Seth Rogen and debut-director Gene Stupnitsky showcase the innocence of kids. The comedy comes from that innocence of children talking about things in an adult perspective. This film follows a similar format of Superbad or more recently Booksmart.

Take a walk with Nile Fortner through old Hollywood at West Palm Beach’s ‘Norton Museum of Art.’ Nile goes to Norton to see some reel art of their 200 plus movie poster exhibit collection, Coming Soon: Film Posters from Dwight M. Cleveland. These films represent Westerns, comedies, sci-fi, and thrillers. Some of the classic and cult movie posters include Casablanca, King Kong, Barbarella, Singin’ in the Rain, and Indiana Jones.

Project Ithaca finds five strangers on an alien spaceship, an alien spaceship that runs on their fear. The strangers are trapped and they soon realize that this species has been abducting humans for possibly centuries. The films cast features Deragh Campbell (Never Eat Alone), Daniel Fathers (Snatch), and James Gallanders (Saw II and The Bride of Chucky).
