’31 Days of Horror’ is back and the Cinephellas Podcast is back and they’re both here to help kick off the 2020 Halloween season! Lin discusses with Nile her new film The Call, which follows a group of friends in 1987 who tormented an elderly woman suspected to be a witch. Once she dies, the friends agree to a 60-second phone call that’s in the elderly woman’s casket. However, someone on the other line picks up. Lin also discusses with Nile, what it was like working with Saw’s Tobin Bell, would she ever consider directing a horror film, and more on this podcast episode.

The inspired and gory splatter zombie flicks are back and this Canadian zombie flick takes a bite out of some fun. The zombie-horror movie, Blood Quantum, follows a sheriff who must protect his son’s pregnant girlfriend, refugees, and reserve riffraff from hordes of the walking corpses.
