Skyline Entertainment has set a date for the North American release of the highly anticipated horror film The Amityville Murders from writer/director Daniel Farrands. The film stars John Robinson (“Elephant”), Chelsea Ricketts (“Crooked Arrows”), Diane Franklin (“Better Off Dead”), Paul Ben-Victor (“Daredevil”), Lainie Kazan (“My Big Fat Greek Wedding”) and Burt Young (“Rocky”). Skyline Entertainment will release the film in theaters, VOD and Digital HD on Feb. 8, 2019.

Estranged sisters – Kate and Angie – haven’t spoken since Angie went to college and left Kate to care for their ailing father. Cassie (Rosemarie DeWitt, La La Land) is a real estate agent and single mom struggling to keep it all together during the housing crisis of 2009. Her problems go from bad to worse when disgruntled client Sonny (Danny McBride, Pineapple Express) violently confronts Cassie’s boss and then kidnaps Cassie – making one outrageously bad, and bloody, decision after another.
