Cinephellas Podcast – Episode 56 (Interview with Danny Abeckaser)

On this episode of the Cinephellas Podcast, Henry Hill interviews the director and star of Mob Town, Danny Abeckaser. Danny was gracious enough to share his insight on making the film as well as talking about how he landed a role in Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman. Mob Town tells the true story of the 1957 meeting of over a hundred mafia members in the small town of Apalachin in upstate New York. A state trooper played by David Arquette uncovers the meeting and helps coordinate a raid on it. Henry was able to watch a screener of the film, and while not on the level of a lot of other mob films, he found the film both entertaining and informational.
