After years in development, countless directors, and other factors, The Flash has finally arrived in theaters. This is one of the final films in old DC cinematic universe, which will reset in 2025, under the guidance of the new DC head James Gunn. Superman will be the first hero to fly in two years, along with other known and unknown heroes coming out of the gate. Sadly, it doesn’t seem like the speedster is going to be seen anytime soon. To hold us over to whenever the new Flash appears, we have Andy Muschietti’s epic multi-verse action spectacle. Is it slick adventure or does it stumble off track?
After all the controversy, The Flash is finally in theaters and we’re back from Central City with our review of the new DC superhero movie from director Andy Muschietti. The film stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen and features Michael Keaton who returns as Batman.

While there are many defenders of the television miniseries, that was the first adaptation of Stephen King’s classic novel, the majority of those defenders will agree that the adult part of the 90s version fell short. Everything seemed to fall apart in the second half of that adaptation. After 2017’s hugely successful big screen version, could director Andy Muschietti succeed in bringing something as good as IT Chapter 1?
