C2E2 will be in Chicago from April 21st-23rd!!

Today ReedPOP, the world’s premier producer of pop culture events, unveiled this year’s Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) show poster.

Created by artist Declan Shalvey – known for his work on Image Comics’ Injection with Warren Ellis and Marvel’s Deadpool – the poster is a unique take on Marvel’s ALL-NEW GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY leaping into action against a view of Chicago’s Michigan Avenue at night(shown below).

 

C2E2 takes place April 21-23 at Chicago’s McCormick Place and tickets are on sale now. This year’s event features blockbuster talent including, the stars of Netflix’s hit show Stranger Things Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo and Finn Wolfhard, Jon Bernthal from Daredevil, Mike Colter from Luke Cage, The Walking Dead’s Michael Cudlitz, Avenger’s creator Stan lee and more, with additional guests to be announced.

Being Scottish I subscribe to the unwritten rule that my favourite film either has to be Trainspotting or Braveheart, personally I chose Trainspotting. Now, 20 years after the original, the long talked about sequel has come around, I had high hopes for it and while it was never going to live up to the freshness of the original, it never set out to. Instead we got a solid follow-up that took us back into this world and showed us what happened when you choose life, but life doesn’t want anything to do with you.

“AMERICAN GODS” DEBUTS NEW TRAILER!

“American Gods” posits a different kind of war brewing—one between Old Gods and New.  The traditional Old Gods, with mythological roots from around the world, fear irrelevance as their believers die off or are seduced by the money, technology, and celebrity offered by the New Gods. Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) is an ex-con who, left adrift by the recent death of his wife, becomes bodyguard and traveling partner to conman Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane). But in truth, Mr. Wednesday is a powerful old deity, on a cross-country mission to build an army and reclaim his lost glory.

 

American Gods premieres  April 30th on the Starz network.

 

ATOMICA LA Special Screening on March 8th!

Syfy Films held a special screening of ATOMICA on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the iPic Theaters in Westwood, CA. Following the screening, there was a private reception held at The Tuck Room Tavern.
ATOMICA will be available in select Theaters on March 17th and VOD and Digital HD on March 21st.

While the girls experience increasingly strange and creepy occurrences at the isolated school, we cross cut to another story—that of Joan (Emma Roberts), a troubled young woman on the road, who, for unknown reasons, is determined to get to Bramford as fast as she can. As Joan gets closer to the school, Kat becomes plagued by progressively intense and horrifying visions, with Rose doing her best to help her new friend as she slips further and further into the grasp of an unseen evil force. HBO has confirmed that GAME OF THRONES will return for its seven-episode seventh season SUNDAY, JULY 16 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT).
