With 2,500 battle-hardened Viet Cong soldiers closing in, their ammunition running out and casualties mounting, each man searches for the strength to triumph over an uncertain future with honor, decency and courage.

My third film on Day 3 of the festival was the Canadian Premiere of the thriller Come to Daddy, a co-production between New Zealand, Canada, and Ireland. The film had its World Premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival back in April. It played in several other festivals before landing in Montreal and it has upcoming screenings at the FrightFest in London, UK in August and at the Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantàstic de Catalunya in Sitges, Spain in October.

My second film of the evening on Day 2 was the North American Premiere of the science-fiction thriller Vivarium. It is a co-production between Ireland, Belgium, and Denmark. The film had its World Premiere at Cannes during the Critic’s Week back in May. The film is also setup to be the closing film of the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival in Switzerland on July 13th.

Global content leader Lionsgate and Saban Films are unleashing horror icon and heavy metal mastermind Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell, the follow-up to House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects, as the next chapter in the blood-soaked crime saga. The film will be released in nearly 900 select movie theaters on September 16, 17 and 18, 2019 through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network (DBN). Fathom Events will broadcast the unrated version to theaters with each night featuring unique bonus content.

The Intensity of Saw comes to Outer Space in Project Ithaca
Trapped. No way out. Searching for a crevice, but the walls are dark and no one has a clue how they got there in the first place. Project Ithaca finds five strangers on an alien spaceship, an alien spaceship that runs on their fear. The strangers are trapped and they soon realize that this species has been abducting humans for possibly centuries. The films cast features Deragh Campbell (Never Eat Alone), Daniel Fathers (Snatch), and James Gallanders (Saw II and The Bride of Chucky).

The horrors of Saw come to outer space in the sci-fi film, Project Ithaca. The film follows five strangers trapped aboard on an alien spaceship, a spaceship powered by their fear.
