The Juggernaut Film Festival is a weekend event celebrating Science Fiction and Fantasy films from around the world. It’s presented by Chicago’s Otherworld Theatre Company, whose mission is to further explore and promote the Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre.
The festival prides itself for bringing together the community- from cinema enthusiasts, filmmakers,artists, and casual movie-goers alike- to encourage and support these new and innovative stories in the cinematic arts.
A year has passed since the dark eclipse transformed hard-drinking Officer Lou Garou (Leo Fafard) into the infamous lycanthrope crime-fighter. Although the evil that controlled Woodhaven was defeated, the community is far from returning to normal. A villainous entrepreneur (Yannick Bisson) is looking to open a new brewery and revive the local hockey team, but it’s clear he has ulterior motives. With a new mayor (Kevin Smith) and the new chief of police (Amy Matysio), WolfCop has his work cut out for him when he has to save the town all over again.

It’s December, the time when you think of a rolling fire, having dinners with friends, and… Tank Girl! I mean, come on we’re not getting sentimental now are we? This month COMET TV has some of the cult-iest movies of all time. Earth Girls Are Easy, Tank Girl, Leviathan… and that’s just what I could remember off the top of my head! Think of what I could talk about if I looked it up!
There are also Cult Classic Theater films like Attack of the Puppet People, Dolls and more, plus we have the Martian Holiday Movie Marathon! This holiday season, prepare to head to another world. If you say that in an ominous inner voice, it sounds awesome!
