Review – Jurassic World : Fallen Kingdom (2018)
Jurassic Park was such a seminal movie for many people in the 90’s as it managed to capture imagination, thrills, and suspense in such an unexpected way thanks to the skillful direction of Steven Spielberg. It also managed to be a great one off movie but because money is a thing, Hollywood keeps wanting to do more, which is why Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom exists.

The French film originally titled, Bienvenue à Marly-Gomont (Welcome to Marly Gomont) a.k.a. The African Doctor, tells the true story of Seyolo Zantoko, a French doctor, who struggles to serve as a doctor in a small French village and obtain French nationality in order to expose his family to a wider world. The comedy-drama film is based on the real-life father of French musician Kamini Zantoko, who is also one of the co-writers, and the movie is directed by Julien Rambaldi.

Review – Hereditary (2018)
I’ve mentioned before that every year there seems to be one breakout horror film that critics rave about. Over the last five years, we’ve had The Babadook, It Follows, The Witch, Get Out, and now with Hereditary standing out as 2018’s landmark horror movie. Another connection between the films is that I’ve ended up loving them all and Hereditary is one of the best to date.
Review – Deadpool 2 (2018)
Ryan Reynolds is back as Deadpool (aka Wade Wilson) in Deadpool 2, the sequel to the hit movie. The good thing is that it’s the same as it was before, but has some more to offer this time around. If you want it to be more than a fun take on the superhero genre and expect something deeper, then you might be disappointed. The movie pretty much does what you expect in terms of it’s humor and style, but it also attempts to be more than that, which works to varying degrees.
