’31 Days of Horror’ is back and the Cinephellas Podcast  is back and they’re both here to help kick off the 2020 Halloween season! On this episode, Nile Fortner speaks with scream queen, horror icon, Emmy Winner, the legendary and lovely, Lin Shaye. Lin discusses with Nile her new film The Call, which follows a group of friends in 1987 who tormented an elderly woman suspected to be a witch. Once she dies, the friends agree to a 60-second phone call that’s in the elderly woman’s casket. However, someone on the other line picks up. Lin also discusses with Nile, what it was like working with Saw’s Tobin Bell, would she ever consider directing a horror film, and more on this podcast episode.

RLJE Films, a business unit of AMC Networks, has acquired the North American rights to the action/thriller, ARCHENEMY, ahead of its world premiere at this year’s Beyond Fest.  The film marks the third collaboration between RLJE Films and SpectreVision, after Mandy and Color Out of Space.  ARCHENEMY will be released in Theaters, On Demand, and Digital on December 11, 2020.
