Top 10 Most Anticipated Fall Films of 2019 !

10. Little Women

It has been 25 years since the last big screen adaptation of this popular novel about four sisters dealing with societies expectations of them versus what they want to accomplish in life. Hot off her success of Lady Bird, Greta Gerwig takes on writing and directing duties. Saoirse Ronan, who was nominated for best actress, in that film, takes on the role of the fiercely independent Jo. Also along for the ride are Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, who was seen in two 2019 films, Fighting with My Family, and the insane Midsommar, and Timothee Chalamet, who also starred with Ronan in Lady Bird and gave a brilliant dramatic turn in 2017’s Call me by Your Name. These are young performers who will bring Gerwig’s vision to life. Gerwig can write sharp and sassy dialogue, which will breathe new life into this classic tale.

Review – Apostle (2018) **31 Days of Horror**

by Old King Clancy

Having been kicked in the head, twice, by both of his Raid films, I was looking forward to Gareth Evans full-length Horror film Apostle. Even more so having seen how he handled the genre in V/H/S/2 and gave the world Safe Haven, easily one of the best 20 minutes of horror put to screen. ‘Tales of Halloween’ – The Best Halloween Anthology since ‘Trick ’r Treat’

by Nile Fortner

With films like V/H/S, The ABCs of Death, and Creepshow, Halloween is one of the most favored times of the year to invest in horror anthologies. Michael Dougherty, director of the upcoming 2019 Godzilla: King of the Monsters, kicked the horror anthologies back into high gear with his 2009 cult classic, Trick ’r Treat. Tales of Halloween follows in the same footsteps as Dougherty’s film of numerous stories being told and intertwining together on Halloween night. Only Tales of Halloween has a total of eleven different directors coming together to make one film. Much like Trick ’r Treat, Tales of Halloween keeps the spirit of Halloween and I’m sure it’ll be a cult classic amongst scare buffs.
