The Cloverfield movie series is such an interesting blank check franchise because there’s no shortage of good ideas by making this an anthology series as it gives more freedom for whatever stories that the filmmakers want to tell. I would have been fine if this was one movie about a monster attacking a city but they decided to expand on this and made a great followup in 10 Cloverfield Lane.

We’re not playing the game, it’s playing us!
A harmless game of “Truth or Dare” among friends turns deadly when someone–or something–begins to punish those who tell a lie–or refuse the dare.
Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare, starring Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars) and Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) opens in theaters Friday the 13th!

Logan Myerz returns from the portal to hell to review Zak Bagans (Ghost Adventures) new documentary Demon House.

After making its critically acclaimed debut at Sundance last year, Cory Finley’s Thoroughbreds finally saw the light of day last weekend. The film was originally titled Thoroughbred, but shortly after the premiere, Focus Features acquired the distribution rights and decided to make changes to its name. Currently with a certified fresh rating of 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, first time director has certainly maintained an exquisite status with critics.

As mass hysteria breaks-out over an alleged demonic possession in an Indiana home, referred to as a “Portal to Hell,” “Ghost Adventures” host and paranormal investigator Zak Bagans buys the house, sight unseen, over the phone. He and his crew then become the next victims of the most documented case of demonic possession in US history…the “house of 200 demons.”
Directed by Zak Bagans
Starring Zak Bagans, Jay Wasley, Billy Tolley
In Theaters and Available on VOD and Digital HD March 16, 2018
