Review – Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018)

by Old King Clancy

The run-up for Mission Impossible: Fallout put the film in a very interesting position and not just because of the moustache fiasco – for the first time in the franchise’s history there was a direct sequel with the same director returning. Given the success of the franchise so far it’s unsurprising that they would try something different to keep things fresh and while I don’t agree that this is the best Mission to date, Fallout does prove that long-form storytelling might be in the series future.

I’m also happy to receive the “Breakout Action Star Award” and would like to thank “Action on Film International Film Festival” and Mr. Del Weston for this honor. But I couldn’t be here without my idols Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ralf Moeller and Matthias Hues so I would like to thank them too for all the inspiration and support over the years!” said Nevsky.

Review – Headshot (2016)

‘The Raid: Redemption’ and ‘Mile 22’ star Iko Uwais is a knockout in 2016’s ‘Headshot’!

by Nile Fortner

Star of the action-packed Indonesian flick The Raid: Redemption and The Raid 2, Iko Uwais now stars in the new Mark Walberg and John Malkovich film, Mile 22. The new action thriller directed by Peter Berg (Lone Survivor) once again brings Uwais to the hard-hitting action cinema that has made him a well-known worldwide action-star. Uwais is known for one of the best action films in years, The Raid: Redemption and the sequel The Raid 2, is without a doubt a great leading man in action movies. On the other hand, one film that seems to not have gotten as much praise as ‘The Raid’ films is the 2016 Indonesian film, Headshot.
